Borikén Anpetuwi Tiyospaye

– South Gate community led by Phankeska –

Phankeska Winyan, of the Cannup Yuha spiritual lineage, leads Canupa (sacred pipe) and Inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies in the Island of Borikén (Puerto Rico).


She may be reached to conduct other indigenous-based spiritual rites to accompany those going through difficult situations.

Her training is based on the Lakota Red Road Spiritual Tradition as taught by her teacher, Uncle Cannup Yuha. She is a pipe carrier and was authorized by Cannup to serve the people through ceremony.


She stewards a piece of land that belonged to her great-grandparents, small farmers from the region of Corozal/Toa Alta. Permaculture and agro-ecology guide her farming activity. Educational workshops, activities, events, ceremonies and retreats are offered periodically.
